Hello everyone! After a very long week of tracking this storm system on the computer models, they are finally starting to hone in on a exact path and where the heaviest totals will be. The bulk of the snow will be east of Nebraska but parts of South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri look to get quite a thumping of snowfall. The first part of this system will affect the Dakotas as a clipper but as it dives south it will try and phase and a secondary heavier band of snow may develop from northeast Kansas through southern Iowa that could total through central Missouri, Indiana and Ohio eventually. This will eventually develop into quite a powerhouse storm system for the northeast dumping up to 16 inches of snow with isolated areas seeing 2 feet!
